Visting Aunt Pat after the hike
Brenda and Shauna in the wildflowers.
The four hikers
To remember our mom this year, on the anniversary of her death, we hiked Dog Mountain in the Columbia River Gorge. We each read letters that we had written to mom. Even Shauna wrote one...it was amazing how much she knew about her even though they had never met, just from working with Linda this year. It was very special and healing. We forgot to bring kleenex, but other than that it was a perfect day.
