Linda and Shauna Ramey...New Co-workers...Hard at Work

Our first order of business after our first gospel meeting was to check out a local trail. We hiked into Salt Creek Falls and Diamond Creek Falls.

We were at the hospital together when mom was in ICU in May after surgery for ovarian cancer. We couldn't stand to leave Mom alone, so we borrowed PJ's, ordered pizza and settled in for the first of several long nights, not understanding the seriousness of her illness.  She passed away a few days later on May 11th. 

Linda visited for Adrian's birthday

Aunt Linda visited visited for a week after a busy summer with 9 conventions. She and Alex worked all day on a cake for Adrian's 12th birthday. Birthday boy, Alex, Linda, & Dave. Brenda took the photo.

Two Dogs are Better Than One

Jake didn't like being alone and the kids were begging for a puppy. So we got McKinley..bold and brave - he helped Jake not be so afraid. When old Jake didn't want to play, McKinley never gave up until Jake gave in. They are the best of friends and Jake taught him a lot about being a "big dog", but McKinley still knows who's the boss.

It's A Dog's Life

I'll start my new blog with the dogs because they won't complain about their photos. Jake was a rescue dog. When I got him in 2006 he didn't like much attention, now he loves to be spoiled. He's old and stubborn - but he's loyal and I love him.
